LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Another fight on the Las Vegas Strip.

This time in front of the Paris Hotel where shots were fired early this morning.

Two people were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, multiple people were taken into custody, and an arrest was made.

Today, as thousands of tourists walked up and down Las Vegas Boulevard, many were shocked to hear about it.

“We didn’t see any fights, not one fight at all last night and we were on the Strip at all the time," said Mignonee Vincent.

“We haven’t noticed any fights, we just see cop cars at night. It’s been pretty calm," said another female tourist.

It is still unknown what started the altercation that ended in gunfire.

“It seems a little goofy to me that there’s so much tension going on right now between all kinds of people and maybe something set somebody off, but I haven’t really seen it," said Tony Letendre.

In the last few weeks there have been several reports of fights both inside and outside popular resorts.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department recently held a press conference to say they won't tolerate this behavior in the city.

“We understand that our neighboring states all have COVID-19 restrictions and their residents are looking for places to go and be entertained and get out. However, we cannot tolerate the violence," said LVMPD Capt. Patricia Spencer.

This is an ongoing investigation and LVMPD is asking that if you see something, say something.
