Henderson Municipal Court announces new COVID-19 safety procedures

Rodney T. Burr, Chief Judge of the Henderson Municipal Court, has determined that temporary alterations to current court procedure are necessary to further protect the health, safety and well-being of the community.

Effective immediately, the Henderson Municipal Court will operate under the following procedures:

- All currently scheduled court hearings from Nov. 30-Dec. 31 for criminal and traffic arraignments, criminal and traffic trials, specialty courts, and status checks will be continued for five weeks (35 days) from the date of the currently scheduled hearing.

- In-custody video arraignments will be held each business day.

- The Court and customer service windows will remain open.

The Court encourages the use of electronic communications with the Henderson City Attorney's Office/Criminal Division for the possible resolution of cases set for trial.

The Henderson Municipal Court will accept filings in criminal/traffic cases via email at HMCLegalFiling@cityofhenderson.com
