The last COVID-19 press conference Gov. Sisolak held was on July 9 when he announced that bars in certain Nevada counties, Clark and Washoe included, needed to close.
Today's press conference comes on the same day that five new deaths and 988 new cases were reported statewide by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. The agency reports the daily positivity rate is 17.2%.
