LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak knows everybody wants to know when he will eliminate his stay-at-home directive during the COVID-19 epidemic, so he took to social media to offer a little bit of his thinking.

The first-term governor explained that "our State has the unique challenge of enacting the highest safety standards possible" because of the high level of tourism, both domestic and foreign.

To that end, he said "I view this challenge as a great opportunity & will work w/ my fellow Western regional Governors, leaders from around the country, & local governments across Nevada to ensure our residents & future visitors know there is a strong plan in place when we reopen for business. "
