LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Kyler's Kicks and the Never Give Up Wellness Center are teaming up to offer free virtual mental health services for anyone in need, including kids and teenagers, who may be struggling with the circumstances surrounding COVID-19.
With many people losing their jobs or getting paycuts, they may not be able to afford mental health services at a time when they need it most.

The organizers of Never Give Up Wellness Center say they saw more people coming to them concerned about unemployment, homeschooling, and their family's health.

"I think it's mostly the fear," said Selene Rangleox with Never Give Up Wellness Center.
"How long is this going to last? What's going to happen next?" she elaborated. "You go to the store and there's nothing there, so how am I going to feed my family?"
Kyler Nipper, with Kyler's Kicks, says he understands how many teenagers may be struggling with changes or stress related to homeschooling.
He says he suffered from PTSD after being stabbed over his shoes. That's why he teamed up to provide free mental health services.

"With the coronavirus going on, we really needed a way to help families more," said Kyler.
"There's a lot more stress going on with teens, and times are tough right now," he said. "We're trying to get out to everybody that it's OK to need help."
