New drive-thru coronavirus testing site to open in North Las Vegas

NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The City of North Las Vegas says a new drive-thru testing site will open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning May 4.

Testing will take place in the parking lot of Walmart on Craig Road near Clayton Street from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. You must have an appointment, the city says.

Appointments can be made through Quest’s MyQuestTM online portal and app, MyQuestCOVIDTest.com, which will screen and schedule appointments for those individuals that meet medical eligibility for the testing sites.

On Sunday, a testing site was open to North Las Vegas residents at Canyon Springs High School between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Anyone interested was told to bring their ID and proof of residency - such as a driver's license if it shows a North Las Vegas address or a utility bill.

Drive-thru testing will take place in the Walmart parking lot located at 1807 West Craig Road in North Las Vegas.
