LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Firefighters with the North Las Vegas Fire Department began receiving vaccinations for COVID-19 on Monday morning.
Their Facebook posts says that NLVFD will be responsible for vaccinating the city’s Tier 1 personnel over the next month.
First responders in Henderson also received the vaccine on Monday, according to a tweet by the City of Henderson.

The first vaccines in Southern Nevada were received by healthcare workers at local hospitals on Dec. 14, including University Medical Center.
UMC also confirmed it has begun administering the 2nd dose on Jan. 4.
