Dispensaries see increase in CBD sales in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A Las Vegas dispensary says since the stay-at-home order began in Nevada, they’ve seen more customers turning to CBD products to relax.

“We saw consumers start stockpiling groceries, and that definitely translated over to cannabis as well,” says Matthew Janz, The Source Dispensary.

Janz says many of the products flying off the shelves are being sold due to the COVID-19 crisis.

“We are seeing a number of consumers come to us and they are stressed and have high anxiety,” says Janz.

The Source continues to practice social distancing among their staff members to fulfill orders.

The dispensary is now relying on deliveries to serve costumers.

Janz has noticed recently that folks are moving away from their traditional consumption habits of the past, and are considering other cannabis products.

“We always recommend people consider checking out CBD to THC ratios at different variant levels,” says Janz. “They can have different beneficial components”
