HENDERSON (KTNV) — The first round of COVID-19 vaccines is currently on the way for first responders in Henderson.
Community Ambulance says it will soon have enough doses to vaccinate all of its workers, with about 70% signed up to take the vaccine.

“The reception has been well. A lot of what we work with is providing our employees with information. So, they can make an informed decision and decide whether or not the vaccine is for them. At the end of the day, the availability of the vaccine is going to help us turn the tide in the next phase of this pandemic,” said Glen Simpson, director of special operations with Community Ambulance.
The vaccines will remain voluntary for Community Ambulance employees. Doses are scheduled to arrive next week.
