COVID-19 may have arrived in the U.S. earlier than first reported

There are indications the coronavirus might have been in the United States earlier than most people thought.

The first official case was reported on January 19.

Now, CDC officials are reporting new findings from thousands of Red Cross blood donations.

They were taken from mid-December of last year to mid-January of this year.

106 of those samples showed COVID-19 antibodies present.

This study now has researchers believing the virus was in our country earlier than that.
