LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Costco confirms with 13 Action News that there are confirmed cases of COVID-19 among its employees.
The company did not specify how many employees or which locations they work at, but says it is communicating relevant information internally to its employees.
RELATED:
The update was in response to questions about a letter circulating over the weekend that appears to be an internal document for employees of a location in Henderson.
The document says in part, "We have been informed of a positive COVID-19 test for an employee who works at the front-end department of our location."

It goes on to list the steps that the company has taken in response to the test results saying:
- We have contacted the local health department and are working cooperatively with any additional direction given by them.
- We are undertaking additional cleaning and sanitation protocols and will continue with our daily enhanced cleaning.
- We will communicate directly with co-workers known to have been in close contact with a sick person and are now at low risk for infection.
Please continue to practice social-distancing to the best of your abilities and good hygiene (cover cough/sneezes, wash hands thoroughly and often, and stay home if sick).
