LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Clark County announces additional public sporting facilities at parks closing during the ongoing coronavirus concerns.
These additional closures include disk golf courses, tennis courts, pickleball courts, skate parks, bocce courts, horseshoe pits, handball courts, park exercise equipment, Mountains Edge Regional Park Sports Wall and The Club at Sunrise golf course due to the Governor’s Emergency Directive No. 13 issued Wednesday.

Before Wednesday’s directive, Clark County said closed amenities included playgrounds, restrooms, dog parks, basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, volleyball courts, swimming pools and splash pads.
Outdoor park spaces and trails will remain open to the public, although visitors are strongly encouraged to follow health officials recommendations regarding social distancing and other precautions.
Clark County said it operates 100 public parks and 63 recreation centers with a complete list of locations here.
Clark County officials said they are continuing to monitor the coronavirus situation in coordination with state, local and federal health officials and will keep the public advised of any updates.
