Cinemark says it will reopen some of its theaters nationwide, including some in Las Vegas, on Aug. 14.

The company also says there will be staggered showtimes and face masks will be mandatory.

Guests who are not feeling well are asked to stay home. Cinemark says it will provide a full ticket refund.

All information about the company’s phased reopening, including enhanced protocols, location-specific opening dates and hours, film schedule, tickets on sale, and more, can be found at cinemark.com.

Las Vegas movie theaters set to reopen include:

  • Century Orleans 18 and XD
  • Century 16 Suncoast
  • Century 18 Sam's Town
  • Century 16 Santa Fe Station and XD
  • and Century 16 South Point and XD

The reopening is an expansion of the company’s test-and-learn process as it prepares to reopen all of its locations in the U.S.

Upon reopening, the theater will offer “Comeback Classic” films and traditional concessions at a reduced “welcome back” price.

Cinemark says tickets will cost $5 for adults and $3 for children and seniors.

Moviegoers can book a Private Watch Party and host a private screening of a “Comeback Classic” film in a dedicated auditorium for up to 20 guests starting at $99.

The company says all locations will reopen with enhanced cleanliness, sanitizing, and safety measures.

Tickets go on sale Friday night at cinemark.com.
