CCSD still in need of Chromebooks

Remote learning requires all students to have a computer, and to have internet access.

But less than half of CCSD students say they have access to a personal device.

According to CCSD, in late June they were short about 96,000 Chromebooks. But, even if every student has a computer for the upcoming school year, there are still concerns about how it will impact their learning.

Yvonne Perez has two grandchildren with special needs, and she says she works full time and is not prepared to help them with virtual learning.
