LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Free COVID-19 vaccination appointments are now full for those 65 and older and utility workers at two sites in the city of Las Vegas on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
The city had announced the clinics just yesterday and less than 24 hours later all appointment times have been filled.

“I am excited to bring the opportunity for vaccinations to the residents of Ward 6,” said Councilwoman Michele Fiore, whose ward is home to the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center. “I know that it has sometimes been difficult to secure an appointment due to limited vaccine supply, but these dosages being available in Ward 6 will be a blessing and convenience for many.”
Councilwoman Victoria Seaman’s Ward 2 is home to the Veterans Memorial Community Center.
“Many in Ward 2 and around the city have been patiently waiting to be vaccinated, and I look forward to additional sites like this one opening as more doses become available,” Councilwoman Seaman said. “If you or your loved ones are eligible please register to take advantage of this opportunity.”
If you were able to schedule an appointment you are reminded on the day of your appointment to wear clothing that allows easy access to your upper arm and to wear a face-covering over your nose and mouth.
Along with these sites, the Health District also is providing several other vaccination sites throughout the city and additional information can be found at covid.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org.
