Convicted rapist Darren Sharper nominated for Pro Football Hall of Fame

Darren Sharper was among the nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017, despite being a convicted rapist.

Sharper is currently serving an 18-year prison sentence for drugging and raping as many as 16 women in several cities, including Las Vegas.

Sharper was already booted from the Hall of Fame at his alma mater, College of William & Mary.

While in the NFL, he played for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints.
