Over a hundred dogs are at risk and police are stepping in to make sure they're all okay.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's new Animal Cruelty Unit, along with Clark County Animal Control, served a search warrant at K-9 Barracks and Bath on Wednesday to see if any of the dogs need immediate care.

Officers found 18 dogs were kept in improper cages, and 5 needed medical attention.

The doors were locked when we stopped by K-9 Barracks on Thursday. We reached out to the owner who hasn't returned our call.
