Contact 13 is looking at the top 3 spots for Black Friday deals around the Las Vegas valley.
WalletHub surveyed 8,000 deals from 35 of the biggest stores in the country.
In the valley, Macy's is No. 1 on the list where the average discount will be 63.4 percent, No. 2 is JcPenney at 62.8 percent and No. 3 is Harbor Freight at 62.6 percent.
The stores to avoid if shoppers are looking for big discounts include Costco, only averaged 25.4 percent off, Amazon 24.7 percent off and Big Lots at 23.5 percent.
Now what about the most popular shopping categories? Most of the Black Friday discounts this year are concentrated on toys.
Sam's Club has an average savings of 43 percent off for kids. The other biggests categories are clothing and accessories.
For clothing and accessories, there is an expected 60.7 percent off at JCPenney, but the biggest discounts will be in the jewelry section.
Kohl's also has great deals on jewelry, with savings of 70.4 percent.
If you're looking to shop online, Walmart, Amazon and Target has some of the best deals on their respective websites.
