The Boulder City Fire Department says an alert resident reported a caller trying to solicit funds on behalf of the department on Wednesday.
The Boulder City fire and police departments are reminding the public that they never attempt to raise money over the phone.
If you receive a call asking for money, do not provide any personal information to the caller. You can report it to Boulder City Police Department online.
