Last week, the windblew over an awning, pinning several cars in the process. Nothing has changed since then.
A Clark County inspector says they are looking for the owner of the lot where the awning is located, near Sahara Avenue and Sandhill Road. They believe the owner doesn't live in Nevada. The owner will be the one to pay for the fix.
"I need this done like immediately, mainly because we do have a lot of children that are in this apartment complex," said Tameka Harley, a resident in the Arcadia Palms Apartment Homes.
Some are worried that the wind in the Valley lately has worsened the situation.
"It's been collapsing more every night from the wind," said Charles Trible, another resident.
The inspector said he doesn't believe the wind will cause any more damage.
