LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Outgoing Clark County School District Superintendent Jesus Jara released a statement to employees of the district.
In the statement, he wrote he will remain superintendent until Dec. 1.

Jara was fired last week with a 4 to 3 vote by the board of trustees.
