Clark County School District hosts teacher hiring event in Los Angeles

Posted

The Clark County School District will host a teacher recruitment event in Los Angeles this month.

During the event March 10 and 11 at the California Country Club in Whittier, a group of CCSD school principals and human resources staff will meet one-on-one with potential new teachers looking to relocate and become educators in Las Vegas.

Registration is open to all current teachers in Los Angeles and the nearby counties. College students graduating with a degree in education and looking for employment are also encouraged to attend. Individuals interested in teaching but who have a bachelor’s degree in another area will be able to inquire about the Alternative Routes to Licensure Program.

As the fifth-largest school district in the country, CCSD serves more than 320,000 students and has 358 schools.

Those interested in attending are asked to register in advance by visiting teach.vegas.
