LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County Commission has unanimously approved the plans for the "people mover" at the Las Vegas Convention Center. They approved the project during a meeting on Wednesday.
The people mover will transport people from one hall to another at the convention center.
The first phase calls for a loop about a mile long under the convention center.
The systems promised to be able to transport at least 4,000 passengers every hour at speeds up to 50 mph.
