Homeowners feel tricked, while the land they love is dying.
Wednesday, the Silverstone Golf Course was on the Las Vegas City Council agenda. Several homeowners showed up, many wearing matching green shirts that read "Save Our Silverstone."
The golf course has had a lot of ups and downs lately. The property recently changed hands.
Maintenance and watering has basically stopped, despite a court order.
City Council is weighing the possibility of imposing fines against the owner of the golf course.
"It's upsetting to see a vibrant golf course go to waste," said Edward Watkins, a homeowner at the golf course.
There is a court case centered on the golf course, but results there could be months away.
