A 13-year-old girl received head injuries after she went missing from a trail near Mount Charleston Saturday morning.
Around 10:30 a.m., police said a 13-year-old girl and her brother were looking to find a scenic view for a picture along Cathedral Rock Trail. Her brother then decided to head back to family. The girl continued and was found nearly 7 hours later.
Las Vegas police received a call around 2:15 p.m. that she was missing. Originally, police had reported she was missing from Red Rock Canyon.
She was found around 5 p.m. with head injuries. The teen was transported by helicopter from the scene.
