LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County School District has stressed school bus safety for kids in the valley during National School Bus Safety Week.
The district's transportation department bus safety team taught kids at Marion Cahlan Elementary School about the importance of getting on and off buses safely on Tuesday.
The team also named them Star Bus Riders with a certificate along with offering goodie bags.
CCSD stressed school bus safety with drivers - reminding them always to stop when a bus is loading or unloading children unless the traffic is passing on a highway divided by a barrier, and drivers should allow the bus plenty of space while moving.
