LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County School District Board of School Trustees reached a tentative agreement with the school police association on Thursday regarding pay.
The trustees unanimously approved a memorandum of agreement with the Police Officers Association of the Clark County School District covering the 2019-21 school years, pending the ratification from the members of the POA.
The agreement includes:
- A 3% adjustment to the salary tables to increase the salaries of all employees.
- A 6.9% salary increase for employees placed in a position of more responsibility by the Chief of Police and pursuant to CCSD policies. An example will be if a normal officer is asked to be a K-9 handler or a training officer.
- 4% increase in both years in CCSD's contribution to monthly health insurance premiums.
