LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Clark County School District Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara has a message for graduating seniors as schools remain closed throughout Nevada amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In an email Dr. Jara wrote, "The students of the class of 2020 are fighters..." and he said he was working with principals to find a way to recognize them since graduation ceremonies are canceled.

A Message from Superintendent Dr. Jesus F. Jara to the Class of 2020
Your principals and I are working hard to find a way to recognize our graduating seniors for your phenomenal accomplishments. We do not yet have all the answers, but we are committed to finding a way for you to graduate from CCSD and your specific high school. We will keep you informed as plans progress and thank you for your patience.
