Nevada Highway Patrol says that a Clark County School District school bus and a mini-van were involved in a crash on SR 169 at mile marker 18, in Overton, at 8:57 a.m.
A head-on collision caused the school bus to burst into flames soon after impact. The driver of the mini-van was airlifted to a hospital and his injuries are being deemed as non-life threatening. NHP also says there were no students on the bus at the time of the crash.

Officials are saying that the driver of the mini-van became distracted and crashed into the school bus.
