The Clark County School District is responding to President Obama's recommendation that transgender students be allowed to use the bathroom matching their gender identity.
They sent us a statement that read in part "CCSD has been working on this issue with members of our community including parents and schools. We will study the details closely to determine what, if any, changes we will have to make to remain in compliance with federal guidelines."
Obama's letter of guidance was sent out to public schools today.
