UPDATE: 13 Action News has new information about a CCSD teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.
According to the official arrest report, 37-year-old Nicole Wilfinger was a friend of the family. She became a family friend when Wilfinger was coaching a soccer team that the victim was part of. She had been at the victim's home on several occasions, and even babysat the family's 7-year-old daughter.
The victim reportedly had Wilfinger's name stored under "best friend" in his phone, and they often used Instagram and Snapchat to communicate. The victim initially told police that he saw Wilfinger as a close family friend or like an aunt. He told police that she has a medical issue and that he felt sorry for her.
After police examined Wilfinger's phone, they found 317 phone calls and 556 text messages between her and the victim. There were also 325 images of the victim. The phone also included a journal that detailed dates of their encounters including "first kiss," "first time we had sex" and "first time he was a cowboy for me."
Police contacted the victim again and asked him was there anything he needed to tell them. He then confessed that he lost his virginity to Wilfinger, and had sex with her at least 3 times. The relationship started when he was 14, and continued after he turned 15. Wilfinger was arrested and charged
