Clark County School District hosts virtual board meeting Wednesday

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County School District Board of Trustees is hosting a virtual board meeting on Wednesday.

Last week, the board voted 4-3 to end a special meeting to discuss recent allegations against CCSD Supt. Dr. Jesus Jara before they got to the last agenda item - the possible action of his termination.

Dr. Jara has been under fire for his response to the COVID-19 crisis and recent comments during the special session on a bill aimed towards education funding.
