A valley mother is sharing disturbing cell phone video that shows her teenager being kicked and sucker punched by a classmate.
The incident occurred on Feb. 5 near Carey Avenue and Mount Hood.
"I don't know how anybody could do that," said Kristan Giddinge.
Giddinge said it happened as her 15-year-old son was walking home from school. The short video clip shows the teen curling up on the sidewalk, trying to protect his head.
"It's painful to sit there and see that there's people around and nobody's helping him," said Giddinge.
Giddinge said the 17-year-old attacker has since been expelled from Sunrise Mountain High School, but she wants him to be held criminally liable for assault and battery.
"My son is still having headaches," she said.
The teen had cuts and bruises to his head and arms as a result.
It's possible the case has not yet reached the district attorney's office.
