Surveillance video shows a woman stealing an employee's purse at the Steiner's Pub near Buffalo and Vegas drives.
In the video, you see the woman walk into the bar just before 9 a.m. on Dec. 6. Moments later she spots purses behind an employee counter.
"I checked my purse and it disappeared and I was like my gosh where's my purse and I knew it she took it," said Sandra Castro, a busser at Steiner's.
Castro said in her purse was $350, her personal information and her house key.
"I was in shock. Why? Because she took my purse and 20 minutes later she was at my home," Castro said.
Once the thief arrived at her home, Castro said the woman used the key to get inside. That's when thief came face to face with Castro's 21-year-old daughter.
"And the thief gives her the key and says Sandra told me to get this to you, then took off," said Mike Lawton, manager at Steiner's.
Lawton said he posted the surveillance video on Facebook and learned that the woman had also hit other bars in the area.
"In a couple of them [pictures] it looks like she's wearing the same clothing so it could be in the same day," Lawton said.
13 Action News spoke to the O'Aces near Cheyenne Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard who said the woman walked in and stole a tip jar just two hours after the Steiner's burglary.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the thefts. If you have any information reach out to police.
