Witnesses say shots rang out near a busy park at Vegas Drive and Decatur Boulevard Sunday morning, and it was all caught on camera.
Jerome Foster said it happened during a game of flag football at Ed Fountain Park. The shots were reportedly fired from a nearby parking lot. Cell phone video shows families running for cover.
The father was nearly hit by a stray bullet.
"I can hear them going right by my ear," Foster said.
The veteran says he immediately knew to get on the ground.
"I see three guys running, and I hear the other shots happening," he said.
Witnesses said no one was hit. 13 Action News reached out to police about this incident.
