One car crashed on westbound Sahara Avenue Saturday afternoon, taking out three light poles and some trees.

Police said the driver lost control of the car and crossed the median around 2:25 p.m. near Edmond Street, west of Decatur Boulevard.
According to police, the driver left the scene after the crash. The person was then followed by Good Samaritans who detained the driver until police arrived.
Impairment is suspected and the driver was arrested.
The crash blocked off several lanes of Sahara Avenue as police investigated.
