4:54 P.M.

Firefighters are battling a 2-alarm fire at a home on 2712 Green Bay Drive, near Buffalo Drive and Cheyenne Avenue. All occupants made it out of the house safely. No injuries were reported.

3:50 P.M.

About 2,000 customers are without power in the southwest part of the valley. NV Energy says the issue is equipment-related A witness claims a car crashed into a power box near Sunset Road and Grand Canyon Drive, which may have knocked out the power. Estimated time of restoration was originally listed as 6 p.m. but has since been changed to 7:30 p.m.

3:38 P.M.

The Las Vegas City Council voted for stricter regulations on short-term rentals like Airbnb. "Instances of poorly managed properties that turn into weekend party houses," were cited as one of the reasons the regulations were put in place. READ MORE

2:50 P.M.

Northbound Valley View Boulevard is closed between Pennwood and Sahara avenues because of an overturned SUV. The rollover was a result of a collision between a Toyota Tacoma and a Toyota Camry. No injuries have been reported.

9:40 A.M.

Fire at Sportsman's Royal Manor on Tropicana Avenue and Boulder Highway.

 

 

6:30 A.M.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed a fatal incident that occurred at 6560 Bourbon Way, near Alta and Torrey Pines.

A call to LVMPD reported a woman being run over by a trailer. Police say the boyfriend of the victim was driving the trailer at the time.

The woman was transported to University Medical Center where she later died.

6 A.M.

Two semi trucks involved in crash on the I-15 northbound near Jean. Traffic is being redirected.
