BOULDER CITY (KTNV) — Police in Boulder City are warning residents of a mountain lion sighting over the weekend and recommend people keep an eye on their pets.

In a Facebook post on the city's official account, authorities said the sighting happened shortly before 9 p.m. on Sunday on Birch Street. They also said a dead dog was found in the area recently and they believe it was the victim of a mountain lion attack.
