Supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement held a rally on Fremont Street Friday evening.
About 20 Black Lives Matter supporters marched under the Fremont Street Experience canopy carrying signs.
There was also an RGB Unity Revolution demonstration on Lake Mead Boulevard and Owens Avenue.
Both groups say they want to get the message out that their people are being disproportionately targeted when it comes to violence. But they had different views on how they are treated by police in Las Vegas.
Police had a lot bigger presence out here on Fremont Street during the rally. Las Vegas police says it will be monitoring similar events over the weekend to make sure everyone is safe.
