Basic High School students arrested for guns on campus

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Two Basic High School students have been arrested Dec. 13 for bringing loaded guns to school.

Las Vegas police went to the school's campus to arrest a student they are investigating. The police found a .32 caliber gun on the student.

Clark County School District police contacted another student on who campus who is known to be friends with the first student. They searched that student and found a .40-caliber gun.

Both students were arrested.

No threats were made against the school, which is located in Henderson.
