At least 12 people were displaced in an apartment fire Sunday evening.
The Clark County Fire Department received a report of a fire at 7:13 p.m. at the Bay Bridge Apartments, located at 5400 S. Maryland Pkwy., near Russell Road between UNLV and McCarran International Airport.
When firefighters arrived at 7:18 p.m., they were able to extinguish the blaze within 6 minutes.
All occupants were safely evacuated from the structure. There were no reported injuries.
Six units were damaged in the fire. American Red Cross responded to assist the 12 displaced, which includes 8 adults and 4 children.
The damage to the building was estimated between $75,000 and $100,000.
The cause of fire is under investigation at this time.
