Jewel wrote on social media that she has been at a loss for words.
I lost my dear friend Tony Hsieh. He founded Zappos, Life is Beautiful music festival and the Downtown Project in Vegas. I have been at a loss for words, and unable to post adequately, because an entire life summed up in a meme is ... well... impossible.https://t.co/nWJsQTAJks

The singer also reportedly wrote Hsieh a letter expressing her concern about his alleged drug use.
Forbes is reporting the letter was written shortly after the two spent time together in Park City, Utah, back in August.
