Argument escalates to deadly shooting, Vegas police say

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One man is dead and Las Vegas police are looking for a suspect after a weekend argument escalated to a deadly shooting, according to authorities.

On April 27 shortly before 9:40 a.m. police responded to a 911 call on East Harmon Avenue near Boulder Highway.

Officers found a man laying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the man was having an argument with another man outside of an apartment complex in the area before the shooting.

Eventually, the second man pulled out a gun and shot the first man. The injured man ran and eventually collapsed from his injuries.

Police say the shooter left the scene before officers arrived.
