The Animal Foundation announced Wednesday it plans to save all healthy and treatable animals throughout the valley by the end of 2020.
For years, the Animal Foundation has come under fire for not being a "no-kill" shelter.
Executive Director Christine Robinson made the announcement at the Dog Adoption Bungalows at its campus on Mojave Road.
The plan includes a timeline for the rollout of new programs including Keeping Every Person & Pet Together, Community Cats, an expanded foster program and an increased capacity to care through the renovation of existing buildings and construction of new facilities.
