A Las Vegas woman has been sentenced for her role in the prison cellphone smuggling scheme orchestrated by Ammar Harris.
33-year-old Re'Ann Atkinson (Gadson) was sentenced to 18 to 48 months in prison on two counts of bribery of a public officer.
Atkinson was found to have brought in cellphones, along with food and drink items, using chicken wings and vodka, to an officer to pass off the contraband.
Another defendant in the case, Derrick McKnight, has entered a guilty plea and will be sentenced on Dec. 8.
