Family, friends and colleagues of a local cab driver who was murdered one year ago gathered Thursday night to demand justice.

His alleged killer has yet to go on trial.

They held a candlelight vigil on the Las Vegas Strip at Flamingo to honor Michael Boldon, Sr.

His fiance, Beth Hultgren was in tears, "Michael and I had been together for 13 years, and I had only been out here for a month when this happened, and it's been the worst year of my life."

The Desert Cab driver and his passenger were killed when a Maserati slammed into them and burst into flames.

Police said that car was driven by an aspiring rapper who'd been shot in the chest by Ammar Harris.

Harris was arrested after a two-month manhunt. He already faces life in prison for a rape conviction.

If convicted of the deadly shooting and crash last February he could get the death penalty.

Harris is due to go on trial for murder in September.
