The suspect in a deadly shooting on the Las Vegas Strip was arrested Thursday in the Los Angeles area.
26-year-old Ammar Harris was arrested at about noon in north Hollywood.
Federal agents and the LAPD arrested Harris without incident.
Harris is accused of shooting aspiring rapper Kenneth Cherry Jr. as they drove down Las Vegas Boulevard on Feb. 21 following an altercation at the Aria.
After Cherry was shot, he crashed into a taxi resulting in the deaths of a taxi driver, 62-year-old Michael Boldon, and his passenger, 48-year-old Sandi Sutton of Washington state.
A massive manhunt was launched for Harris after the shooting. The black Range Rover that he was driving at the time of the shooting was found over the weekend at an apartment complex near Flamingo Road and Koval Lane.
Las Vegas police say that Harris has an extensive and violent criminal history. He was also a self-proclaimed pimp.
Harris will face three counts of murder when he returns to Clark County.
