The suspect in last week's shooting on the Las Vegas Strip is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom on Monday.
Ammar Harris was arrested Thursday at an apartment building in Studio City, Calif. He was arrested by a joint task force of police and FBI agents.
Tenants in the building where Harris was arrested said that they were not even aware that the man wanted for the deadly shooting on the Las Vegas Strip was in their building but that they are relieved that he is now gone.
Harris is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles Superior Court on a fugitive warrant at about 10 a.m.
He's expected to face extradition back to Clark County to face charges on three counts of murder.
Police have not revealed any details about the woman that Harris was staying with. It is believed that the apartment was in her name but it is not known if she was just a friend of Harris or if they have a deeper relationship.
Police say Harris fired out of a black Range Rover early the morning of February 21 while riding down the Las Vegas Strip.
Aspiring rapper Kenneth Cherry, Jr. was fatally shot, and two others were killed in the resulting crash.
Those victims were cab driver Michael Boldon and his passenger, Sandi Sutton.
