Cab drivers are reacting to the arrest of Ammar Harris, the man suspected in last week's Las Vegas Strip shooting that left one of their colleagues dead.

62-year-old Michael Bolden worked for Desert Cab. Bolden was killed after a shooting led to a crash on the Strip early last Thursday morning.

Bolden was laid to rest on Wednesday in a ceremony at a local church.

"I was at the funeral yesterday. He's got a great family. I'm sure this is closure," said Michael Colaneri, a family friend.

Now, his coworkers are happy to hear police were able to arrest the prime suspect. They hope this leads to justice for Bolden and his family.

Coworkers remember Bolden as a happy person and a hard worker.

Action News spoke with Bolden's family over the phone, who said they are happy to hear of Thursday's arrest.

Desert Cab has a candlelit vigil planned along with a taxi procession to honor the life of Michael Boldon on Thursday night.

Earlier in the week, local cab companies donated $35,000 towards a reward for information leading to the arrest of Ammar Harris.
