A jury has found Ammar Harris guilty of three counts of sexual assault and one count of robbery.

27-year-old Ammar Harris, a self-proclaimed pimp, was on trial for a sexual assault and robbery that took place in 2010.

A woman that was living with Harris said he forced her to perform oral sex and then raped her. Two weeks later, the victim says that Harris choked her and stole $600.

Lawyers for Harris have insisted that the sex was consensual.

The charges were initially dropped when the woman refused to testify and moved to Texas. The case was resurrected when she moved back to Las Vegas and testified in front of a grand jury assembled for the Strip shooting case.

Harris is facing triple murder charges resulting from an incident on the Las Vegas Strip on Feb. 21, 2013.

Harris is accused of shooting aspiring rapper Kenneth Cherry Jr. following an argument in the valet area of a Strip hotel.

Cherry then crashed into a taxi, killing the two people -- taxi driver Michael Boldon and passenger Sandra Sutton-Wusmund -- inside.

Harris is facing the death penalty in that case. Prosecutors in that case will be able to use today's convictions as aggravating factors when asking for death. The murder trial is scheduled to begin on Dec. 2.

Harris will be sentenced on Nov. 20.
